A great deal of the success of the social side of St. Benedict's is attributable to members of our P.T.A., the St. Benedict's Association. Their considerable efforts enable us to offer a varied range of activities for everyone to enjoy. recently parents, pupils, staff and friends of the school have enjoyed barbecues, auctions of promises, barn dances, discos, race nights, 50/50 club, concerts and quizzes. To the members we are very grateful.
Register – you only need an e mail address and a password that you make up. Six letters and two digits. You will only need to do this the first time.
Select St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester as your cash recipient.
Each time you want to shop or even browse (browsing can earn cash too even when you don’t buy anything, using easysearch), go to the easy fundraising site first then click on the search box for the retailer you want – John Lewis, Amazon, Tesco,(includes Tesco online food shopping) M&S,O2 etc. You are basically going through this site to reach the one you want. So in essence it is just an extra click.
Each purchase nets a percentage which is then added to the school account. You can also check to see how much you have raised and will get a confirmation e mail. Some retailers give more than others – for example a music book purchase of £3.95 with the Musicroom, made 18p!
The Auction of Promises raised money for the make over of the Changing Rooms
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to a very successful Auction of Promises. The total raised to date from the event is over £8500
